The Swine Store

The original of our quirky log stores is the swine store. It’s so much more than a log store, it’s a sculpture, a talking point and best of all it makes people smile.

Perfect for outside the back door to give easy access to firewood on cold winter evenings it would equally be at home inside a house, pub or restaurant.

With the outer made from corten steel and the mild steel angled bar, the corten gives it its beautiful rusty colour whilst providing protection against the elements. The angled wooden rear slats, reused from pallet wood, give a second life to the wood but also give a great industrial feel. The slats are treated to provide protection from the elements.

Corten steel weathers over time and the swine store is supplied in an unweathered condition, once outside, depending on the weather conditions, the swine store will begin to turn orange within a fortnight. It is possible to make the swine store with pre-weathered steel and if this is of interest please contact us to discuss.
